Establishing electron-photon work-energy relation (equation)

Mechanism-Revealed Physics (5/40) ------ by Bingcheng Zhao

Electron-photon work-energy relation (equation): being the combination of OEPIEP law* and energy conservation law, electron-photon work-energy equation is established for the first time in the history of quantum physics (P. 252 ~ 258, 3.4, Ch.3A, reference #1). The equation reveals and expresses the essential work-energy relation between electron and its emitting photon as that: the work accepted by an electron over its one impulse period is equal to the energy of the photon emitted by the electron. (*Note, OEPIEP law = the law of orbiting electron periodic impulse emitting photons, P. 193 ~ 214, Ch.2A, reference #1). The newly established electron-photon work-energy equation is on P. 254 as Eq (3-6) (Ch.3A, reference #1).

The newly established electron-photon work-energy equation has been corroborated via deriving out Joule’s law from the equation (P. 256 ~ 258, 3.4.3, Ch.3A, reference #1).

The fundamental significance of electron-photon work-energy relation (equation): electron-photon work-energy relation is the essential bridge between electron and its emitting photon (P. 254 ~ 255, 3.4.2, Ch.3A, reference #1). Electron-photon work-energy equation revolutionarily extends the famous Planck-Einstein equation (i.e., E = hfp, the energy of a photon = Planck constant x the photon’s frequency) by connecting the parameters of a photon with the parameters of the electron emitting the photon (P. 255, 3.4.2, Ch.3A, reference #1).

The key to understanding of electron-photon work-energy relation (equation): (a) keeping ask the fundamentally important question: “what is the mechanism that converts input electrical energy into output photon energy?” {Hint: the newly established and verified electron-photon work-energy relation reveals the conversion mechanism}. (b) The work accepted by an electron becomes the energy of the photon emitted by the electron (P. 254, reference #1), and energy conservation law.

The great application of electron-photon work-energy relation (equation): due to its revealing the mechanism that converts input electrical energy into output photon energy, electron-photon work-energy relation (equation) lays the fundamentally indispensable foundation for substantially enhancing the proportion of visible light in lighting apparatuses (P. 272, reference #1; P. 913, 10.3.3, Ch.10, reference #2), along with the fact that: at present, ordinary light bulb only converts about 5% of the input electrical energy into useful visible lights.
